Lash Love

Let’s talk Lashes Archbeauties!! I think we can all agree that beauty trends come and go, but one tried and true look many of us continually strive for is long, luscious lashes. There are many ways to get there, some conventional, applying mascara, and some a little less conventional such as the application of lash extensions. Today I want to tell you about OUR favorite way to show off your lashes, a lash lift and tint.

At Archbeauty, we offer two different types of lash lift and tint services. The Yumi Lash Lift and Tint and the ElleeBana Lash Lift and Tint. They both achieve the same result with a similar process and a few key differences. The wonderful benefit of lash lifts is that they cause zero damage to your natural lashes! In fact, one of our lash lifts includes a nourishing keratin treatment, which can help strengthen the lashes. I think we can all agree that breaking up with your eyelash curler for a few weeks will benefit overall lash health too!

First let’s discuss what makes them similar. The Yumi and The Elleebana both start off with the lashes getting a good cleanse, after that you are asked to keep your eyes closed and your esthetician fits your lashes for the forms that work best for your lash length. The steps moving forward from here involve a series solutions applied to the lashes that allow them to curl and set around the lash forms. Once those steps are complete, the lashes are tinted. After tinting, the process is complete.

Here are a few key differences between The Yumi and The Elleebana. The Yumi offers the added benefit of a keratin treatment with their lash lift. The keratin helps to condition and strengthen the lashes.  The Yumi lash lift is a slightly longer service at 90 minutes and its price point is higher at $165. The Elleebana is a 60 minute service without the added keratin treatment and the price is $101. It is said that the Yumi lasts slightly longer than the Elleebana does. The Yumi can last from 8-10 weeks and the Elleebana can last from 6-8 weeks but results truly depend on how you care for the lashes and the products you tend to use on your face and near your eyes.

Some things to keep in mind before getting a lash lift… you will be lying with your eyes closed for most of the service. It can sting a bit if some tint

gets into the eyes, but this is temporary and should pass within a few minutes, likely before you even leave the treatment room. You cannot get your eyes wet for 48 hours after the service, you should avoid heavy exercising and sweating as well.

We would love to see you at the spa for this beautiful service! Cathy is trained in The Yumi lash Lifts while Grace/Lindsay provide The Elleebana. Call the spa or book online. See you soon Archbeauties!
